Homeable will connect you with customers through our extensive network, and can schedule jobs for you based on your availability and preferred service area. We take care of all the paperwork required, and provide you with the training and support needed for you to feel confident working with older Australians and those with disability.

What You’ll Do:

As a Homeable Technician, you'll play a crucial role in providing comprehensive smart home solutions to older adults and individuals with disability.

Your responsibilities could include:

  • Conducting in-home site visits to assess client needs, gather measurements, and capture essential details to assist in designing a personalised smart home solution.

  • Educating clients on available smart home possibilities and recommending suitable solutions.

  • Installing and integrating smart home devices, ensuring seamless connectivity and functionality.

  • Creating custom automations in the Homeable app.

  • Educating clients and their support network on how best to use and maintain the technology

  • Conducting repairs or replacements as needed

  • Engaging with family, friends and occupational therapists when installing smart home solutions.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely so customers have a sound understanding of their solution, regardless of their technical knowledge

  • Compassion and enthusiasm for impactful work in the disability and aged care sector

  • Relevant up-to-date insurances

  • A valid ABN number and invoicing system

  • A Smartphone to access the Homeable Installer App

  • Access to a reliable, well-maintained vehicle

  • Access to any other equipment & tools required to carry out installs and repairs

You also must be willing to obtain/complete:

  • Police Check

  • NDIS Worker Screening check 

  • NDIS Mandatory Orientation Module

  • Smart Home Technology Training Module
